Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), located in Pimpri, Pune, Maharashtra, is a prominent deemed-to-be university established on January 11, 2003, under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Initially founded with the Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, the university has expanded to encompass 15 constituent institutions offering a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, biotechnology, management, design, liberal arts, and online learning.
