A recently installed Smart Police Booth at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport Terminal 3 has been installed to improve passenger safety and expedite assistance. Lt. Governor VK Saxena of Delhi officially opened the booth, which offers services like e-FIR filing, lost item reporting, emergency contacts, and real-time flight information via interactive screens. It has computers, printers, scanners, and Wi-Fi. Trained male and female officers work there around-the-clock. At one of the busiest air transportation hubs in India, this technology-enabled facility aims to provide travelers with improved airport security and easier access to assistance.
